I have been waiting for this film every since it was announced in 2014. Actually, back when Iron Man 3 came out I got into a HUGE and I mean HUGE debate with a few fanboys about whether they were going to do Civil War or not, the dudes called me a moron. I blocked them & I was right in the end.
(brushes my shoulder off and mutters don’t argue with a Cap fangirl)
I am stoked about this movie and I am even more excited that I am going to The Ultimate Captain America Movie Marathon on Thursday, I am serious, it is practically Christmas for me.
I can’t wait to see how they have adapted Civil War to the bring screen because obviously they are going to take liberties so I am pretty excited to see what they do.
SO anyway I am announcing I am a Team Cap girl today, because well I just am. I am still trying to decide what I am going to wear but you can certainly bet it will be Cap related. Also I am really excited to get my Captain America medal, cause the medals are seriously cool.
So tell me fanboys & girls… what side are you on? Are you taking part in the marathon?
Today I was going through some of my photos when I came across these two photos.
The photos are not the best quality but they make me laugh. I am seriously a dork.
This got me to thinking, I often take silly photos like this, I stage some stupid expression on my face because I think it is funny even when it earns me an eye roll from whoever takes the photo.
In fact, I remember being told once that I really need to grow up when it comes to taking photos. After seeing these two photos and laughing at them… I can tell you I rather not grow up and I rather be me even if it is a geek or nerd or whatever. 🙂
I rather just be a big ole giant nerd and have these funny photos to laugh at when I look back. I think too many of us go through life being who others want us to be, but never really get to be us. That is a shame.
So next time you want to stage a photo with a silly expression on your face, Do It. 🙂
Photos were taken at Atlantis Aquariums in the Bahamas, I loved their aquariums and recommend you check them out if you can.
I wish I could tell you I said something witty.
I wish I could tell you I got a picture of the time I met him.
I wish I could tell you what exactly happened when I met him.
But I can’t.
This is becoming the new trend of meeting stars at Comic Con, you are pushed through so quickly that it becomes pretty anticlimactic. I was completely nerding out over meeting him. COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY nerding out.
Yes sometimes I forget these people are human.
Then I met him, for like 2.3 seconds. He signed my poster smiled at me, and I went on with my life. I didn’t have time to try and sneak a picture in or anything. I completely failed as a nerd.
He was a bucket list too….
But hey, I am slowly getting this totally awesome Firefly poster finished…
I am trying to venture out and try new things. I am very picky when it comes to food, and honestly I don’t eat a lot of exotic things. So I have been trying to venture out more and more. So I am going to start dedicating Fridays to food.
Today’s food comes from Disney’s Star Wars Weekends. I am not a french toast person in fact I don’t really like breakfast foods. I don’t like eggs, bacon is heavy, and I don’t really eat dairy products. When I was lucky enough to go to the Star War’s Weekends Breakfast at the Sci-Fi Diner at Hollywood Studios I figured I would venture out and give the Imperial French Toast a go.
Oh. My. God.
It was fantastic. If you are lucky enough to go to this special event meal. Get it. It really is fantastic. I am pretty sure I have had dreams about this meal.
