SO I am going to Hawaii tomorrow…

And in typical Jen fashion it is taking a village to get me there. 🙂

First my beloved Sony DSLR, charger is missing.  I have no clue where it is at, or where I left it? (Guatemala? Flordia? Texast?) seriously not a clue…. so I rush home from work to go to Best Buy only to learn it is being discontinued and the charger can’t be ordered.  I even offered to pay big money to overnight it to my hotel… yep no luck.

My Go Oahu cards took three attempts to get and finally I received them and have been able to book (last minute, but at least book) my tours and plans. Talk about stress.

Those of you that know me personally know what is going on and know that do to personal circumstances, the person I was going with isn’t going now, and now I am going with my dad.

Although, I am going to be honest here… and admit dad planning Hawaii has been hilarious.  Seriously I love my parents. I am so excited to go to Hawaii with dad tomorrow, I can already tell that we are going to have a ball… and let me just say I will need his help with directions… I can’t find myself out of a paper bag half the time.

That being said, I made the mistake of telling dad about the Diamond Head hike… and now we are doing that.  I am the girl that believes going up the stairs to the rest room at work is exercise… to put this lightly I am pretty screwed.

I have a teeny tiny suit case, and normally I consider myself a master packer… but how does one pack for a multitude of activities for one week in Hawaii?   well you don’t.. You cram.

The whole damn world has gone insane, making an already nervous flier needing xanex before this flight.  2 hours to Phoenix then damn near 7 to Hawaii.

But even though I am stressing trying to get ready I am so excited because A:

I get to see waves like this for the first time in life.

Plus going to Hawaii with you dad is pretty priceless.

I will of course share all my misadventures adventures with you soon!

So I am just going to chill… and maybe find a xanex (the world has gone insane after all)

For now,

MAHALO (hahaha you like that?)
