Foodie Friday

I am trying to venture out and try new things.  I am very picky when it comes to food, and honestly I don’t eat a lot of exotic things.   So I have been trying to venture out more and more.  So I am going to start dedicating Fridays to food.

Today’s food comes from Disney’s Star Wars Weekends.  I am not a french toast person in fact I don’t really like breakfast foods.  I don’t like eggs, bacon is heavy, and I don’t really eat dairy products.  When I was lucky enough to go to the Star War’s Weekends Breakfast at the Sci-Fi Diner at Hollywood Studios I figured I would venture out and give the Imperial French Toast a go.

Oh. My. God.

It was fantastic. If you are lucky enough to go to this special event meal.  Get it.  It really is fantastic.  I am pretty sure I have had dreams about this meal.

To Cosplay or Not to Cosplay

With San Diego Comic Con upon us it is time for me to decide if I want to cosplay or not.  I have always wanted to wear a costume to comic con, but often chicken out at the last minute.

I have been pretty addicted to Heroes of Cosplay lately and I have found myself thinking hmmm I should totally do that.

Let me start of buy saying I am not going to enter any competitions or cast any metal rings anytime soon but I do think cosplaying is such a fun part of the comic con culture and I think I am almost brave enough to do it.

I think.

Since, I think cosplay is a very unique way to show your passion for a character that you love, so I made a list of characters I love and I am considering for comic con.

1. Lilo from Lilo & Stitch.

It is no secret I love Disney it is also no secret that I love the Experiment 626, I just can’t decide if I love the hula version or the classic red dress version more…

2. Black Canary

Black Canary is one of my all time favorite super heroes, do I have the courage to take this costume on at a convention of 100k??? ehhh maybe. Either way she is one of my all time favorite characters.

3. Megara from Disney’s Hercules

Again another Disney movie, what can I say Meg has sass, and I think this would be an awesome costume to do if I could figure out the pattern and nail it. Either way still tons of fun

4. Vanellope from Wreck it Ralph

I think as far as costumes go, this wil be one of the easiest and I think one of the most fun.

5…. No clue!

I am still looking at so many costume ideas and I am hoping to put something together soon. I just love Disney so much that I would not be surprised if I do something from Disney if I dress up.

What are your plans for cosplay?
