Summary: For fans of The Hunger Games

A high-stakes online game of dares turns deadly

When Vee is picked to be a player in NERVE, an anonymous game of dares broadcast live online, she discovers that the game knows her. They tempt her with prizes taken from her ThisIsMe page and team her up with the perfect boy, sizzling-hot Ian. At first it’s exhilarating–Vee and Ian’s fans cheer them on to riskier dares with higher stakes. But the game takes a twisted turn when they’re directed to a secret location with five other players for the Grand Prize round. Suddenly they’re playing all or nothing, with their lives on the line. Just how far will Vee go before she loses NERVE?

Debut author Jeanne Ryan delivers an un-putdownable suspense thriller.

My Review: OMG I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book. Sometimes I admit I go into a book thinking I am not going to care for it but the concept interests me. I must admit this did happen with this book, but within minutes I knew I was hooked and I would finish this book in a single day.

Vee was awesome, she is shy and has a bit of a misjudged past that feels she is living in the shadow of her friends. I totally get Vee, I was like that when I was a teen. I would have done something like Nerve to prove a point. I would have. I often always chose Dare in games of Truth of Dare so if I could have done dares for prizes???? Shoot where do I sound up.

Thankfully I wasn’t given the opportunity cause as you are likely aware Nerve is sinister & deadly. It was non stop and I kept finding myself cringing at moments and pulling for Vee and Ian.

This book was awesome & now I am really looking forward to the movie. This is a must read especially if you love action and adventure stories.
