When I started 2014, I knew the odds of me having an amazing year were high. While the year ended on a down moment and very sad moments. This year without a doubt was a very busy one, and I can’t believe everything I did this year and I am grateful I was able to do what I did. While this ended as a very emotionally charged year it still had a lot of positives and for this post I am going to focus on the positives.
Right after the New Year started, I found myself in Antigua Guatemala where I was able to work on a coffee farm and met some of the most amazing people I have met in a long time.
I came home for about a week, and then I was off to Disney to celebrate my brother’s birthday.
Then in April, I found myself back in Florida again… but this time rained on and of course that didn’t get me down 🙂
I went to my first con of the year, Dallas Comic Con where I met Nathan Fillion (very briefly!!) , Ron Glass, Adam Baldwin (for the 4th time!), Sean Maher & Gena Torres (yeah I am browncoat!!)
I secretly jetted off to Florida again where I battled Vader at Star Wars Weekends in Orlando and what I am considering my second con of they year 🙂
June 6-8th I visited my momma in Phoenix Arizona where I spent some R&R and quality time with my mom at Phoenix Comic Con and met Adam West (with slight drama but no fault to him) and Burt Ward, who was AWESOME.
I developed a huge nerdy crush on Chris Evans…. seriously, could he have a better face? As I am writing this I am realizing it might be unhealthy. Just kidding 🙂 Well kinda, kidding anyway. Ok… maybe you should pretend I didn’t mention this…
sighs… Seriously he might quite possibly be the hottest man on the planet… OK sorry I will stop talking about Mr. Evans now
OK moving on…
I then took off to Hawaii where I had a great Daddy -Daughter trip. Hawaii is awesome, ya’ll
I jetted off to San Francisco the first weekend of December where I attempted to Napoleon San Fran (Not recommended) but had a great time with great friends!
Fun of Facts of 2014:
New Countries Visited: Guatemala
New States Visited: Hawaii
Total Comic Book Conventions: 3 (gasp I know straight shameful)
I also tackled ONE of my New Year’s Resolutions, I read a 150 books this year! (which was a bucket list thing too!)
